Another thing that would be due to consider not only is the language but frameworks (and other tools like CMSs, CRMs, ERPs based on those languages) that you have available.
I have seen too many projects fail not to stop itself to study the tool on which one is going away to develop (mainly in the case of the CRM) and frameworks badly used (normally below its possibilities doing by hand things that framework does and that does not do more than to roll to the fellow workers). Don't mention it php serves to be 8 years itching if you do not know adaptarte.
If you are nascent fodder that is better (at least we we looked for it thus) that you specialize in something, but that you know that the rest of things goes (haberte done examples of a tutorial or something) although does not find gotten to never prick nothing. It is my opinion, I say and it according to my experience and my companions each will know clearly hers.
